There isn't one clear answer. It varies based on the cause and how you handle it.
The most effective method is prevention. Accidents occur, but backups allow you to recover from them.
What backup plans do you have at home? And if you don’t have one, why not? Every day I see people asking about recovering lost items or files—whether it’s a dead drive, a dropped phone, a virus, or accidental deletion. It’s important to know how to handle these situations.

One solution is backup software... It has been installed, tested, maintained, and used consistently.
= = = =
It's also worth mentioning that Recuva is often referenced for file recovery on Windows computers.

Regarding phones, I'm not certain about the specific models.

EaseUS also performs well on PCs. I tried it and it managed to recover numerous files, even those I specifically wanted, though they were corrupted and couldn't be opened in the program. Disappointing, but not a major loss. Those who claim "prevention is best" are not helpful—they can't undo what's already happened.

Certainly, this information could be valuable for others who read it later. Regarding the "best" option, there isn't one definitive answer—it varies based on how the data was lost.
