Hello everyone,
With the Spectre no longer meeting my needs—battery nearly drained and only minor physical damage—I’m searching for a replacement within a budget of around 2000 €.
I prefer staying in the 2-in-1 category and have been away from the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 for some time. Although its design is appealing, I feel it doesn’t align perfectly with my expectations, so I’m reaching out for your advice.

My requirements are clear:
- Intel i7 processor
- 16 GB RAM
- 516 GB SSD (minimum specifications)
- Capable of handling parallel tasks with Python, R, SQL, and multiple Excel files on half monitors
- Desire for durability to last at least 4 to 5 years
- Soft video editing ability (SD card reader is a plus)
- Colorful 14" display suitable for watching Netflix while working
- Touchscreen and convertible features appreciated
- OLED display not necessary if battery life is compromised
- 1080p webcam needed for frequent calls
- Preference for sharp-metal aesthetics, similar to the old Spectre x360
- Display ratio of 16:10 or 3:2 would be ideal but not essential

Connection setup should include 2 Type-C ports, one USB, and a head/mic jack—Type-C is preferred for connecting monitors, though I’m cautious about the Surface-specific charger.

Please let me know if I’ve captured everything correctly. Thank you for your help!

I just read that article about the latest Spectre x360 featuring the Meteor Lake 155H processor.
It looks like a solid pick, especially since it's expected to arrive in the EU soon.

The HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) equipped with the Meteor Lake 155H processor appears to be a strong option. It includes a cutting-edge Intel Core Ultra CPU and enhanced graphics capabilities through Intel's integrated Arc GPU. The device also features a 9-megapixel webcam and a high-end all-metal chassis.
