The closest devices to my age are the 8088 and M68K processors. Most people born around that era likely owned a NES, SMS, XT, or another 8-bit PC at home. I should mention though, even though the '88 and '68K were released in 1979, you didn't really see them widely used until 1984 (like the Tandy 1000/PCjr and Macintosh). Today it's common for chips to be announced a year before they hit the market.

My setup matches yours. There are two cooling units, like fans, for each main unit. That’s because I don’t have built-in graphics.

I forgot something and accidentally said something wrong. My processor is an i7-8750H and it seems the Intel search requires some updates.
