D5 performs well no matter what label is applied to it.
I’m not sure why your temperatures dropped—it could be anything from RADs (you must have changed at least one) through the case, airflow restrictions, or the fans.
Also, I don’t understand what those LX rads are in your signature.
A D5 is essentially a D5, just differing in whether it's Vario or fixed speed. Swapping the original top for another model might improve flow and head, though the change isn't significant.
It's possible you previously had excess air in the system or a restriction that has since been cleared.
N0ns3s are powerful no matter what label you give them.
I don't understand why your temperatures dropped so much—it could be anything from RDS (you probably changed at least one setting) through the case (airflow limits) to the fans themselves.
By the way, I have no idea what those LX rads were in your signature.
I'm a total idiot; my bad. It was supposed to mean 'XE'—sorry about that. I'm updating now...
Right now I'm using the EKWB Vardar fans at 1200 RPM... I know these are way better than the stock fans I got with my XSPC setup.
Vardar supporters are really impressive... I was struck by their performance during my EK Predator evaluation.
I found a discussion about water cooling with Aquarium coolers. Would you be able to review it? I’m interested in testing it professionally and adding my thoughts to the sticky thread. Please let me know if you can include it and conduct some tests.
I'm not certain about your request—are you checking if water chillers need testing?
I'm not clear on your request—are you looking for information about testing water chillers? Yes, I see you're interested in aquarium water chillers as an alternative to radiators. http://www.aquacave.com/aquarium-chillers.html
This appears to be the top watercooling guide I've encountered so far. Great job!
They're quite costly, so I won't buy just one to run some load tests. Apologies, but that exceeds my budget for basic testing.
Those are quite costly, I won't be buying just one to run some load tests. Sorry, but that's beyond my budget for simple testing. My brother-in-law has several aquariums and I think he might have a water chiller or two. I'll discuss it with him tonight to see if I can use one for testing.
