I have a B450M-HDV motherboard from Asrock with only one adjustable 4-pin fan connector. The other 3-pin connector only provides 12V and can’t be controlled separately. I understand that using a splitter or hub can add more fans, but they won’t operate independently from the MOBO header. I’ve checked fan controllers, but all available options in my country are very costly.

I’m wondering if there’s a more affordable way—maybe a product that ships internationally from sites like eBay or Amazon? I just need an additional fan header and don’t mind RGB features.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Fan controllers are the solution. Unless you opt for a traditional resistive fan controller that offers a knob or slider on a front panel.

There are some decent options available for under $30.

I demonstrate that the motherboard features two 4-pin headers. The Pump/Fan header should also have configurations in the BIOS, and it supports 2A instead of the 1A provided by the other two.
Despite this, such setups are affordable and practical, with many sellers offering them.

Those using USB and needing software tend to be a bit pricier.
