I'm on a tight budget because I just bought a new PSU, RAM, and an R9 380. I need to overclock my G3258 but I can only use this cooler. Don't recommend the Hyper 212 evo, even though I'd like to, since my case doesn't support it. I have a Thermaltake Core v31 case that I can get for $20 on Amazon Prime. I'm aiming to push the overclock up to 4.2ghz.

It should work fine with the 380, particularly when using an OC on the CPU.
