Even BIOS settings overlook AVX when an offset is active, only activating it once the CPU recognizes AVX usage, which can occasionally affect frame rates in otherwise stable games. Overall, its value is mostly confined to a small group of gamers who have limited cooling capacity and push their CPU to its limits.
