I obtained the latest Hitman on PC and am checking if it will perform adequately on my system. Since I upgraded my monitor from 1080p to 4k without changing other components, I’m concerned about compatibility with DX11 and AMD hardware. I’m not expecting 4k resolution but think a 1440p target would be more suitable for scaling. I own a PS4 Pro, which could help, but I’d miss the extra content from the previous game on the same platform. I plan to upgrade my GPU in about a year. I found some benchmarks online, but they don’t include my specific GPU details. My current PC specs are: i7 6700K, 4GHz, 16GB DDR4, AMD R9 390X, 8GB. I’m curious about the achievable FPS, resolution, and texture quality.

The 390X functions similarly to a mid-range graphics card. For 1440p, you should be able to hit mid to high detail levels while maintaining around 60 frames per second. The 6700K performs well, but I need to know your RAM speed.

I believe it should reach approximately 35 to 50 frames per second on ultra.

From HardwareUnboxed I recommend securing the device at 30 frames per second and checking for input lag. If that doesn't work, reduce the graphics configuration.

Does the quality setting in this game allow for low, medium, high, or ultra? Based on that chart, I can handle 1440p 60 if I slightly reduce the quality. Luckily, it seems I won’t need to upgrade my GPU just yet—those RTX cards aren’t really competing with me right now, especially since I’m more comfortable with AMD models.
