Hey everyone, I'm considering getting a portable laptop or compact computer for a project that requires mobility, such as trade shows or events. The tasks involve graphic software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and After Effects. I'm in the $700 range and trying to decide between two options: an Acer Predator with an i5-13500HX and RTX4050 GPU, 16GB DDR5 (upgradable), or a Mac Mini M2. Since I don’t need much storage space, I can use extra SSDs or external drives. I also have a monitor and the necessary hardware for the Mac Mini. The main focus is comparing their performance for these graphic applications. Prices are roughly similar. Let me know your thoughts!

For boosting productivity, choose the M2-based Mac. If your focus isn't on productivity but on activities like gaming, the Acer branded laptop would be a better fit.
