You're facing some performance issues with your PC while recording CS GO replays. With an i5 4-core CPU and a GTX 760, you're likely hitting frame limits, especially at 30 FPS. OBS is working but not optimally. Consider exploring alternative solutions like using a dedicated capture card or switching to a more powerful GPU if possible. It might be worth evaluating whether upgrading your PC is necessary or if there are other ways to improve recording quality without a full rebuild. Let me know if you'd like help finding the best options!

The most likely option is Nvidias shadowplay in GeForce Experience. Do you already have it?

I rely on Nvidia Shadowplay and it performs excellently. Consider giving it a shot.

I also have NVIDIA Shadow Play installed, though I haven’t used it much. Appreciate the reminder!

Have you experimented with QuickSync alongside OBS? That might resolve your rendering power concerns. If not, share your OBS configuration. Is the 30 fps problem noticeable during gameplay, or would recording at 60 fps be better?

Sorry, I hadn't noticed it—it would be great to capture at 60 frames per second. I can play the game smoothly at that speed, but when I try to record a demo, I encounter lag spikes. It might be related to a slow hard drive since I'm using the same one for my OS, the game, and recording.

It might be worth noting that 60fps shooting requires significantly more effort compared to 30fps.
