your pc runs on an older i7 6700k, you're thinking about upgrading to something like the i7 14700kf. you're considering gb-gigabyte or msi options, but you're worried about the motherboard choices since many asus boards have a lot of silver components which you don’t want. you’re leaning toward gigabyte or msi, and you noticed some people mention coil whine on certain gigabyte models—though you didn’t hear much about it for this specific model. the msi pro z790-a offers wifi and an extra m2 slot, while gigabyte provides two more usb3 ports.

The cost varies across different shops, but both options are suitable. Generally, there are other boards available that could be even more advantageous.

you live in an area with limited choices—mainly MSI Gigabyte or ASUS. Some local shops carry ASUS ASPECS, but they’re quite expensive here. As I mentioned earlier, most ASUS models in my budget are mostly silver, and I don’t want to pay extra for a black version. I also didn’t find the Mayday model worth the additional cost.
