I was thinking about building my own keyboard, but I don’t want to get all the maintenance stuff involved. So I was curious if there are any "gaming keyboards" that match my needs:
1. They don’t put too much pressure on the fingers (low pressure).
I have a weak wrist and some keyboards require high pressure, which makes it hard to use for more than 30 minutes without discomfort, even with a wrist rest.
2. They are silent.
Not exactly membrane keyboards, but I can tolerate some thoks, though I’d prefer the quietest option possible.
My current Taurus K310 is too heavy for my wrist, but I like how silent it is.
I was wondering if any keyboards really fit what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?

On the Durgod Taurus K310, do you know which switches are available? It seems to offer several choices. This will assist in highlighting options, such as speed silver linear and still heavy, optical switches, and then deciding between pre-built and custom models. If you have the "all around" MX Browns, opting for a liner or lower actuation switch would be beneficial.

Are you comfortable with a 60% layout, or do you require a full-size keyboard? The lightest switch movement is on the Wooting 60HE, which many consider the top gaming keyboard. You can adjust the actuation point to reduce pressure.

The 60HE is regarded as one of the best gaming keyboards by many, and you can set the actuation point for less pressure. The downside is it’s currently out of stock until April and can be pricey.

If you’re interested in a custom build, I suggest checking out the Glorious GMMK 2, which comes pre-built with Fox liner switches. I’m currently using one but have updated to their Glorious Panda for a different feel. My son uses the Fox liners on his GMMK Pro.

If you have a Best Buy or Micro Center nearby, I recommend visiting to try out keyboards with various switches and see what suits you best.

Among the more popular options, MX Red Silent and Silver Speed switches both exhibit a low actuation force. They are also quite quiet. A comprehensive chart comparing these switches is available here: https://thegamingsetup.com/gaming-keyboa...hart-table. For my reference, 45 seems suitable, offering sufficient lightness without causing accidental clicks when hovering near the keys.

My K310 seems to have silent red switches, and I also like having larger keyboards since I rely on the numpad for tasks.

Consider speed silver and mx reds as top choices.
Need to stay quiet with minimal movement, but you want a solid keyboard at a reasonable cost—no need to spend a fortune.

It's not a standard board, but it's a solid optical option you can't really surpass for its value. It closely resembles the Corsair K100 design. This board appears in my collection of keyboards.

EVGA Z20
I suggest the GMMK 2 (96%) layout. The switches are appealing, but I’d consider Speed Silvers if you’re aiming for a custom build. AKKO offers high-quality speed silver switches at a reasonable cost, especially with a hot-swappable board.

they cost 220$ USD for the stunning lynx, which I think has the most appealing sound
I might struggle through and just get it
