Hello,
I'm searching for a laptop capable of handling gaming, simulations in programs like Solidworks, and CPU-intensive tasks. I need something that can manage heavy processing and 1440p resolution while running games such as Forza, Battlefield, CS:GO, and Escape from Tarkov.

Since I'm located in France, I've noticed that brands like Asus might not be the best fit for my budget, especially considering the price point. I'd prefer a model offering good value with a 1440p display and a powerful GPU that supports most games and software.

I'm open to spending up to 2000 euros, but ideally a bit less. While a desktop PC would be more suitable overall, my travel habits make a portable laptop very useful. The one I found looks promising:

I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you can provide.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

If you follow the link shared, you'll land on that page; it features a capable processor/APU and an RTX4070, but as mentioned, you prefer avoiding Asus products. The model you chose has a bigger SSD, a slightly larger screen, and improved WiFi. Additionally, you'll receive an Assassin's Creed Shadows coupon with your laptop purchase. 😉
You should consider the Gigabyte laptop instead.

I prefer to avoid Asus because the ROG and zephyrus models are quite costly for the features they offer, though I haven't received any positive or negative feedback about the TUF line. The gigabyte option appears to meet expectations, but I'm curious if exploring other brands would be worthwhile. Should I think about waiting until 2025 for laptops?

Hello! I understand you're asking about the Gigabyte laptop, specifically comparing the i-7 and i-9 processors. It would help if you could clarify a few points: which processor model are you considering, and what specific concerns do you have about productivity, cooling, or power supply? This will help provide a more accurate answer.

Based on my checks, both options perform well. If you mainly play games, the i7 will suffice.

Another thought occurred to me. Should we wait for 50 series RTX cards in laptops? I've heard rumors suggesting they might be superior to the 4070 by a significant margin. Do you have any idea how much they would cost?
