The Asus M712 with a 17.3-inch display weighing 2.3kg seems quite manageable, especially for a high-end model. It's a reasonable weight considering the screen size.

Looks typical. My two-in-one with a 15-inch weighs 1.65 kg, and my 17-inch with a GTX 1070 is 4.42 kg.

I think it's "light weight" since my 17" LCD screen already weighs 4kg.

But those in less-known forums thought that a 17.3" laptop was a "pain" during constant activities, such as lectures, studios, and libraries, especially if it was meant for a university setting. However, they overlooked the concerns of the general public. For instance, my own Asus M712 isn't as problematic as they claimed, weighing only 2.3kg, and even with external accessories, the total remains under 3kg.

Is this an ultra-thin model? It seems to be.
Based on your requirements, you could potentially achieve superior performance with a slightly compact, marginally thicker design, yet still weighing similarly, by using a more robust mobile processor such as the 5800H, all at a reasonable cost.
