I'm trying figure out what noise that is making. It feels like it's coming from my power supply unit, but I don't know why it sounds rattly. It's not the fan because the sound changes depending on which game you're playing in. If I close the game down completely, the noise stops right away. Even if the fan slowed down normally, this wouldn't happen so fast. Could this be a strange version of coil whine?

it's probably a bad bearing, and that makes it grind when you turn the fan on or off.

I have a fresh power supply here, and my old one with the same model that I replaced after making some loud noises works fine too.
