What is so great about PUBG?
I have a genuine question. From what I understand, the game relies on stealth, situational awareness, and good shooting skills to succeed. As someone experienced in CS and a fan of many first-person shooters, I find PUBG less appealing compared to others. The videos from top YouTubers like LevelCap show a clear edge for more seasoned players, which makes it hard to compete fairly. To me, this undermines the experience because it’s easy for many to dominate. Personally, I prefer games where you can’t just rely on numbers and need to adapt your strategy. Playing 1.6 didn’t give me that advantage either—it was mostly about communication through IRC, which wasn’t very exciting. This is my perspective.
They clearly show a big edge compared to newer or less experienced players, especially when watching top creators on YouTube.

He plays alongside his friends, and the game is set in third person (though it can switch to first person). There are many additional elements like RNG that aren't present in CS:GO.
When we look a bit further into things, CS becomes more strategic. It brings everyone much closer together than PUBG does because of the scale of the game world. There’s little room for real tactics, so you’d depend more on chance and unpredictable factors rather than skill or teamwork.
