I tried linking my power button to my MB and noticed it has a cable marked PB. I think PB is for power, but I’m unsure what PB stands for since the MB doesn’t have that label.

Negative indication for the power button. Recommended label: POWER- ON on the motherboard or front panel diagram in the manual.

It really doesn't matter if it reaches the ground, but typically this device is marked as a power button.
