It depends. If you plan to revisit the game later, you need to renew the subscription again. If you enjoy playing through the story and don’t want to use it again, then paying for a subscription might be better. There are also other services like Humble Monthly that offer more indie titles.
Andromeda takes between 8 to 12 hours, most bioware RPGs last 40 to 80 hours
Mass Effect 3 was around 30 hours, though it was heavily scripted and ended exactly as I thought
When you're spending money either way, there is no profit. You're only spending less.
No, you can't just talk like that. You're trying to figure out how someone plays and treating it as a number, which feels really odd to me. On the other hand, 19 hours sounds about right for what I spent on the first Mass Effect—speed running on the easy level because I wanted to play the 2D version as soon as possible. I think the 2D one took me 40 hours since I had to restart a few times, and the 3D game actually got me through in 19 hours with some restarts too. I managed a total of 100 hours in the 2D game because the combat was so enjoyable. Just like that friend who talks like that.
Why not hold off for a moment? First, Star Wars Battlefront II and Mass Effect Andromeda are no longer priced at $60.00. Also, they frequently reach $4.00 to $6.00 at least once each month for a solid week or two...
Recent pricing trends for Star Wars Battlefront II over the last six months show it was $4.49 from Dec 20, 2019 to Jan 11, 2019, then stayed around that amount until Jan 29, 2019. From March 5 to March 17, it rose to $5.99, and again dropped back to $4.49 from April 11 to April 26, 2019. You can likely expect it to settle near $4.49 by June.
Mass Effect Andromeda’s prices have been a bit different. They often hit record lows during major sales events. Good news is the next big sale is coming in June, so you might find it at $3.99 then.
Alternatively, you can purchase it now for $4.00 on eBay any day of the week. It’s brand new and sealed, which is convenient since you’ll receive the UPlay code as if you bought it through UPlay.
Sellers are also reliable. I recently found this exact copy for just $2.00, similar to what I paid two years ago on eBay. Although I don’t play the game much anymore, I still enjoy it. It’s worth around $4.00.
First off I'm not young, how does anything I typed make me "talk like I'm young". Especially if there is absolutely nothing wrong with what I wrote... I just stated how long it took ME to complete just the story missions on easy... it takes longer to 100% and depending on difficulty can take even longer. I don't see how what I wrote was childlike or could have possibly insulted you.... I was literally trying to explain to the person who said it takes 8 hours to 12 hours that it could actually be quite a bit more. My comment you're so heated about is saying that it took 18 hours minimum on the easiest difficulty without doing optional missions. Depending on the person playing it can be longer or shorter but for the most part for friends and myself Andromeda was an 18 hour story average on easy... I have 150 hours in the game total a majority of which was exploring and getting to 100% and a little of the multiplayer, and even replaying on harder difficulties. Judging from your comment you haven't even played Andromeda you only mention the first 3 games then you add an extra hour to what I said it was and say that sounds about right??? You have to be trolling.
