G2A is famous for stealing, so I talk about Kinguin instead.

Home is essential. OEM is linked to your motherboard. Technology doesn’t block you from using it, but there’s an agreement between the seller and Microsoft stating OEM should come with your hardware. Selling keys online isn’t a legitimate transaction and poses risks without a proper license. Many believe these keys are stolen, but they’re often obtained through resale accounts or broken second-hand purchases—this violates Microsoft terms. These keys can be flagged by Microsoft. This video offers the most affordable legal Windows option available.

I just checked those platforms. Their explanation of activation doesn’t match how MS markets its offerings. On scdkey.com, Windows 10 Pro cost $16—completely unrealistic for a legitimate price.

He seems to be installing a Kinguin license for his parents' machine, which suggests those files aren't typically blocked by Microsoft. It might just reflect a personal preference or a workaround.

its a matter of time until it happens. Im surprised Kinguin has been around as long as they have. They must be based in eastern europe to get away with it. Theres a team at MS that data mines product key activation. They do some pretty neat inferencing; about two years ago using IP addresses of activated keys they managed to get a location of a counterfeiter and his craigslist ads. That guy woke up one morning to an armed police force breaking down his front door.

I mentioned that video three months ago. He seems to be misunderstanding things and isn't helping people learn. Many scam marketers targeting New Zealand are based in Hong Kong, which often means they use a post office box there.
