Mantle is a rendering API designed for 3D games. Its improvements in draw calls help reduce CPU limitations. The aim is to let games and apps use CPUs and GPUs better, cut down on CPU bottlenecks by lowering validation overhead, enable smoother scaling across multiple cores, speed up drawing processes, and give more direct control over the graphics pipeline by removing parts of hardware abstraction found in OpenGL and Direct3D.
