I'm wondering if paying full price for a $15 Bluetooth adapter just to play games makes sense. It feels way overkill since the same thing works for cheaper.

What make, model, and where are Bluetooth adapters located in your area? Where do you buy them? Are they easy to take back if things go wrong? For the most part, I would be super cautious about a $5 adapter. It's probably made from cheap parts, assembled poorly, never tested, and maybe even fake. But buying one for $15 isn't necessarily bad either. So try finding both a high-quality, well-reviewed adapter and a trusted seller with good reviews and easy returns online. Look at recent reviews like this one: https://venturebeat.com/product-comparis...reviews-2/ Check other sources too. If you spot a few adapters that fit what you need, visit the official maker's site. Read the User Guide, Manual, and any Forum comments there. Watch out for what is written versus what isn't. Some little USB things get super hot, so keep an eye on that.

It's totally okay. Just go with a solid brand, like Asus. I'm using a cheap Bluetooth adapter along with my Xbox Series S controller, and it plays great on PC games that want a controller.
