The 5600g is a bit improved, though the 5500 is roughly ten dollars cheaper or more. Go for the 5500 if you want savings.

Same setup but one has an IGPU while the other doesn’t. If you need the IGPU, go with the 5600G—it’s a solid option. If not, stick with the 5500. Just avoid paying more than $20 extra; the 40GB model in 570/580 will handle it without breaking the bank. Unless the price gap is over $10, choose the 5600.
