Hi Ive just bought a new PC for an upgrade and after picking good parts my old owner said to keep the stuff he already has. (The original computer had a 7700k processor with z170MB motherboard, paired with one very cheap 8g ram stick and a 1050ti graphics card, which is like a strange mix). So now I have this pretty cool 1050ti graphics card that has a special power connector and after some quick searching it costs almost the same as buying a cheaper 1060-3g. It is actually my most expensive GIGABYTE 1050ti because it comes with lots of extra ports (IO). I am wondering what can I get out of this when I do not have to worry about having too much power from the power supply since the graphics card can take more than 75w. Ive tried a few different settings, but this setup is stable enough for me and i did not change the core voltage so i dont want to break the card. The memory stick was useless, but the core with +250 watts worked fine in most of the games. What configuration and which benchmark should I use?

I also have a 1050TI card, and I want to try overclocking it and see how much I can boost the performance. I already use MSI Afterburner, so I just mess around with different numbers in the upper left corner until it says "overclocked" or something similar. Then I run the test and it tells me a confidence level. Is there a number I should aim for? Also, when you mention a 6-pin power cable plugged in, I thought the 1050TI didn't need that because it doesn't use more than 75 watts. Do I still have those two unused cables from my power supply?
