Hey everyone, I'm looking for the top free antivirus options for my computer and would really appreciate any advice you can give. I already use Malwarebytes.

I believe the Windows Firewall provides sufficient protection. Consider running occasional scans with Malwarebytes for added security. I haven't encountered any problems using this approach.

Malwarebytes and AVG are both free options. Windows Defender One is also available at no cost. While free antivirus solutions may lack some features found in paid versions, investing a bit can enhance protection significantly. We strongly suggest purchasing a paid product for better security.

Avast is a top choice for me and several others in the community. AVG is also widely liked.

It might be wise to continue using Windows Defender for now. Many reviews suggest it’s not the top free antivirus option available.

Free antivirus isn't perfect; they often create gaps that lead to extra charges.

I also use Avast, it communicates with me during updates and gives me that friendly vibe.

Choose a tool that works smoothly without overwhelming you. The paid Malwarebytes is straightforward and operates in the background consistently (the free version scans only when prompted). Avoiding unknown links and refraining from opening suspicious emails helps significantly reduce virus risks.
