What influences Marvel Rivals shaders, loading times, and other factors? Also, is MR coded poorly?
My settings are listed in my profile, while my friend uses a 4090 and his girlfriend has a 3090 (an older system). During play, I sometimes load faster than them, other times slower, usually lagging behind both. Both have memory cards on SSDs, mine on an HDD. I don’t know the speeds of their SSDs or when they started playing—load times tend to be quicker if you’ve already played a game. They’re all connected to high-speed internet (500/10 Gbps), with around 60 ping, whereas I have 45 ping and a wired connection at 100 Mbps. I’m unsure about their settings.
With so many factors involved, it’s hard to generalize. Many of you probably use MR, maybe even moved the game from an HDD to an SSD before. Is there any noticeable improvement? Specifically, does switching from an NVMe M.2 SSD to a SATA SSD make a difference? I saw someone on Reddit suggesting that load times are similar in real time, and whether that matters for online games like Marvel Rivals.
My friend thinks the game might be poorly coded, do you think so? How much does that impact the experience?
Additionally, what steps can someone take to speed up shader loading, reduce wait times, make characters appear faster (like when I’m in-game but they’re not visible until later), and improve overall performance?
I’d really appreciate hearing about any problems others face, especially those with MR on faster SSDs or high-speed connections.
which processors are recommended? what ram capacity is suitable and at what speed? Are all drivers current? Should I include a build too? And does Windows work well? Wi-Fi might be a bottleneck, particularly with high ping times. SATA SSDs and NVMe storage aren't as crucial in real-world use; the main advantage comes from fast data transfer, especially when copying large files directly via NVMe. It's a combination of all these factors that affect the overall performance.
