Hi everyone,
I’m considering upgrading my Logitech G633 Artemis spectrum. I’m open to suggestions within a budget of 200-400usd. Some models that came up in reviews include the Beyerdynamic 990, Sennheiser Momentum 4, and Beyerdynamic dt 770. I plan to use these for music, meetings, and casual gaming. I don’t have a strong preference between wired and wireless options.
Best regards

I own a pair of PXC 550 but the latest models seem beyond my budget -

Are you interested in active noise reduction?

Hello
@Colif, I am looking for headphones with noise cancellation. I saw the PXC 550 but it doesn't fit my budget. Thanks!

I really enjoy my AKG 712 Pro. A suggestion from someone here a few years ago led me to try them out after checking reviews. What caught my attention was adding an external DAC/Amp, which significantly enhanced the sound quality compared to the motherboard and ASUS Phoebus cards I had previously used.

Hi,
@sizzling
I value your thoughts, but I believe those headphones are handy for music production. My experience is more relaxed. I’m not very familiar with audio details. Thanks!

The issue with picking audio gear is that individuals have varying preferences. I favor a natural or accurate sound reproduction without any parts of the sound being exaggerated. These still show some rolloff in the low frequencies, which is unavoidable with open back headphones. They work well for music and gaming. Do you know what sound profile you're after?

The sound signature plays a significant role. What genres of music do you enjoy? Which games do you play? Are you seeking headphones for travel or just for home use? Will you be connecting them with other devices?

I use the headphones on my PC desktop or notebook. I sometimes carry them while traveling, but not during travel—I only keep them in my backpack.
I typically play games like shooters and sports.
Music-wise, I don’t prefer a specific genre; I usually enjoy pop, cumbia, and reggaeton.
Regarding my current headphones, I appreciate their deep sound and 7.1 virtual setup.
