I'm not sure why I'm asking this, but what if I tried 4K?

You're suggesting I fabricated the information. My number is slightly higher than what you mentioned, but it's intended for an aftermarket card.

Hold off on the 1080 or 1080Ti—consider pairing it with a locked i5 for better performance. A Titan X offers more power, while a 6/7700k is achievable with an A Titan X.

I’m aiming for the latest 4K monitor version, though I’m also hoping for better deals on Vega and Volta so prices fall and more advanced tech emerges. Pascal isn’t doing well, and Vega won’t match Titan XP performance, but it should push lower-end cards to lower prices.

Sorry to say this, but the question isn’t very clear. It would help if you mentioned more details like your screen setup, what games you play, and other conditions. A Titan should still work with that CPU, and you shouldn’t worry too much about bottlenecks. There’s always a bottleneck somewhere. To let the GPU reach its full potential, faster clock speeds are needed, so the higher clocked models (6700 or 7700 for Kaby) are better than just overclocking in general. More cores can help too, but it depends on the specific game.

You asked for a rephrasing of your question. Here’s a revised version:

Why do you need to inform him?
