I encountered an issue with Ubisoft Connect and they suggested checking with your internet service provider. They mentioned you might have a NAT internet connection, which could be the cause. They also advised you to switch to a different type of internet if needed, but you’re unsure what that option is.

It refers to being part of a network segment where others share the same IP, preventing verification by Ubisoft.

Consider switching your NAT internet connection to a different type if you're unsure about the current setup.

I reside in Georgia, a small country. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with this area. My internet service is provided by MAGTI (company name), and I have a modem at home. I have limited knowledge about the internet.

They likely intended you're using a CGNAT setup. You might bypass it by using a VPN, switching to a different plan with a standard public IPv4 address, or changing your internet service provider.

Tell me about your home network configuration. Did your internet service provider supply a modem and router? Do you also own a separate router, or are you using one that comes with another device? If you added your own router to an existing setup, you might be experiencing double NAT, which can lead to connectivity problems. Share all the devices and connections you have, and we’ll work through the problem together. Also, clarify what you mean by "the issue"—what seems to be the main concern?

The problem occurs when trying to link to Ubisoft, showing no internet and offering options to adjust proxy settings or play without an internet connection. You own a modem but lack a personal router.

You're referring to a small ISP box with built-in WiFi, which is essentially a modem/router combo. It's good to know that. I haven't used Ubisoft Connect before, but it seems the setup is preventing a connection even though you have this device. I'm not sure what the carrier-grade NAT explanation means or why it would block the service.

I have something similar. They mentioned to my internet service provider to reach out and try a different connection type, but they said the NAT connection might be the issue.
