I only use it to enjoy the free games, I've never purchased anything. The exclusivity feels a bit frustrating.

I receive free games occasionally each week. I've never paid a penny, yet I now own more than 100 titles. Still, I don't play them much anymore. (Actually, I haven't played any games lately... My GPU isn't powerful enough for the latest demanding titles, and I don't feel the need to revisit older games)

They provide free games each week, which is why I don’t complain. I’d like Steam to offer the same. While I haven’t purchased a game on EGS directly, I’m okay using EGS to play games I received for free. People who grumble about EGS exclusives could shift the conversation to the broader selection on Steam, which has more titles than just those available on EGS. For those who mainly play the free games from EGS, it might be frustrating to need Steam just to access a game they might want to buy elsewhere. The same applies to Steam users who prefer it over EGS.

I believe the distinction lies in Epic's practice of compensating developers to make games exclusive to their platform, while most Steam-exclusive titles either predate Epic's dominance or simply didn't opt to join.

It's a gaming marketplace where you can find the game you need or get a better deal. I stay calm and don't waste time arguing about everyday things like grocery stores. The complaints people make don't matter, and it's frustrating to see others focus on one company instead of the bigger picture.

I start it weekly to earn the free game, yet I haven’t tried any of them. I’m confused about all the complaints, but I think that’s just how the internet works for you.

I don’t care at all. If something isn’t on Steam or Battlenet, I skip it.

They provide free games, which is great. The lack of community features is a bit disappointing.
