Hey! Your setup sounds solid, but with limited funds and few games to play, you might want to explore more affordable options or free alternatives first. G2A could be worth checking if you're open to it, but don’t expect a huge impact right away.

You can obtain the shield for 30 days at no cost, I haven’t personally tried it yet, but I’m considering giving it a go.

They operate in the grey market. Using them violates the EULA/TOS, though it isn't outright illegal. The keys provided, even if bypassing MSDN or stolen card purchases, come at prices that are regionally unfair, which I see as ethically wrong. I've written several about this issue, but essentially it's like someone receiving a meal at a soup kitchen and then selling it to you for very little. G2A is just a marketplace, but they enable these questionable transactions.

I won't use them because I had no idea. I assumed they bought the games in bulk at a lower cost and sold them separately. I don't want to face any issues if it violates the EULA/TOS. Appreciate you letting me know.

Ignore the silly fairy tales. You can purchase and employ the keys. It doesn’t violate any terms of service and isn’t illegal at all.

They’re priced according to regional rules, even if it’s the best possible. A $120 item listed for $20 isn’t acceptable just because of that.

It's fine to purchase games without Windows; many titles are available on other platforms. Buying games isn't problematic as long as you're aware of the options.

This topic has no connection to games. The concern about Microsoft's customer service is unfounded—thank you for bringing it up.
