I don't usually play high-speed games, but I got Warface and aside from its pay-to-win nature, it looks quite solid. The co-op aspect really emphasizes teamwork, which is a nice touch. The matchups are fairly typical, which isn't always a bad thing. From a mechanics standpoint, accuracy can be hit-or-miss, but that's the only real issue I have. Graphics and performance are impressively good for a free-to-play title overall. In short, it's pretty solid considering it's still in beta and gets frequent updates. What do you think?

I tried co-op a bit but it didn’t feel right. I liked Blacklight more.

I believe the game is solid for free-to-play, though the hit detection falls short. Black Light adds some excitement, but the entire multiplayer mode doesn’t really matter because you won’t be paired together.

I planned to try it out first, but then I noticed many pay-to-win issues and people using katanas to get ahead.

It's likely that most free-to-play titles require payment to win, and it's unusual to see players using weapons like katanas in such games.

I understand that many games are free-to-play but pay weekly subscriptions. The issue lies in how the game operates—read some reviews for more insight: http://store.steampowered.com/app/291480/

I've been enjoying it, really. I prefer to experience a game first before judging it. I don't rely on reviews since everyone has unique tastes and play styles.

It seems you're frustrated with the cash shop mechanics. Let's address that issue.

They portray it as much more serious than it actually is. The store isn't that terrible—there are a few things you can only have for a short period, but most weapons and mods stay with you long-term. Most items let you choose between paying with real money or in-game currency.
