Here, the premium edition of AVG costs just £35, significantly lower than purchasing mediocre options from local computer stores. I’ll also check out Avast, thanks!

It behaves similarly to a virus, showing ads and being intrusive. I rely on Windows Defender or Security Essentials based on whether I'm using Windows 7 or 8.

You're using the AVG AntiVirus 2014 edition, which works well. It's a solid choice!

ESET NOD32 is top choice. Very lightweight, highly regarded by many IT firms.

The pop-ups are really bothersome. Plus, the constant push to use Chrome as my homepage really drove me crazy. It's fine as an antivirus, but I’d advise avoiding any suspicious software and sticking with Windows Defender instead.

The paid edition avoids intrusive pop-ups, at least from what I understand. If you're on the free version, things are quite different.

ESET offers top-notch security for your PC when you're prepared to invest. A yearly fee of $40 provides excellent real-time defense with automatic updates. It also remains quite efficient in terms of system performance. If you prefer a free option, Avast is an alternative, though the cost is justified by its benefits.
