What do Overwatch players think?
People have mixed views on Overwatch. Here are some thoughts I’ve gathered. Would love to hear your take. My ideas include: The feed for killing should work as a switch—on or off, maybe in the top-right spot? It might make sense if certain roles need extra rewards, like getting a bonus when you pick a less common role during healer shortages. As for me, I’m curious about why some players skip their kill cam. Characters: I plan to discuss each one and my reasoning. I’ll refine my thoughts after more playtime on Bastion. I’ve noticed the game feels a bit too strong for certain maps lately—maybe a balance tweak would help. Soldier 76 is solid and well-balanced. Reaper looks promising when paired with a supportive team. Mei’s ice shots could use a bit of polish, but overall she’s decent. TorbJorn feels underpowered compared to others in rotation. Genji seems fine as he is. WidowMaker impresses with her accuracy and setup. Hanzo’s mechanics are solid, though his bow needs more punch. Tracer brings a fun vibe, especially for snipers. Blizzard’s specs are solid but the connection isn’t perfect yet. I’m still learning and hoping to join the closed beta soon. Overall, it’s a good game with room for improvement.
Based on the limited information available: a prototype resembling a dirty bomb.
Forty bucks for a PC, sixty for consoles—it’s not a good deal unless it’s similar to CS:GO (10–15 dollars). If it felt more like a triple-A shooter, I’d have picked it up then. Now it just seems another entry-level shooter.
Similar to Dota 2, this game is free to play. It's not Call of Duty, but a new IP. They aim for competitiveness, though expensive options don't fit that image. Unlike COD, which includes campaign, multiplayer, and zombies with free unlockables—even skins—the platform is limited to multiplayer features and offers skins as well.
