The simple method for providing your specifications is by selecting precise part models. This tool is especially helpful for GPUs or power supplies, though it works well for PC components too. It also lets you easily share information later on. That’s essentially the main purpose.

I'm not an expert, so I don't know what upgrades to consider.

I’d begin with a platform upgrade. The beam.ng drive is very CPU-intensive, covering CPU, motherboard, and RAM—power supply might come next. With a $500 budget, do you intend to save more for the remaining part of the upgrade, or is this a single purchase? Are you in the US? Do you have access to a nearby Microcenter? Which stores would you typically buy from?

No saving money. use it all. Upgrade whats the best for the pc! I live in Europe so theres no Microcenter here. The only two good Electronics store is Elkjøp and Power. They are not in your language so its a bit hard to understand. I bought this PC from an expert for 2 years ago. Ive never done something with the pc since then.

No, the I7 3930k isn't that old. It should work with 4K and 1080p if you're properly connected.
