Sorry if my message came across wrong... I wasn't sure if you wanted to explain. The idea is that an Intel K CPU is only worth it if you plan to overclock, since the K chips cost more than regular ones. I was trying to make a point about the Intel CPU, and I'm sorry for any confusion.
They observed that even with new OpenGL versions, the R9 still offers higher performance metrics like TFLOPS and GFLOPS, along with more shaders, TMUs, and ROPs. It seems gaming scenarios favor the R9. I reviewed several comparison videos and noticed the R9 generally delivers better FPS than GTX in those tests.
The DDR4 speeds allow the 3600 to reach up to 3200Mhz, whereas the 8700K maxes out at 2666Mhz under normal conditions.
The two available choices are quite outdated; I’d pick the 3600. Only these were considered. Processing was quick enough for Z boards, while 2666 works only on non-Z boards.
