I own a 55-inch 4K TV. I’m not concerned with the price but I’m not thrilled about spending around 500 dollars just for a few frames per second more than a 200 dollar CPU.

The 5800X3D offers the top performance. Gains at 1080 will be greater than at 1440/4K since it relies more on the GPU than the CPU. It should work well with a newer GPU in the future alongside this CPU.
