I have an i510400 and a 3080 with a 12GB OV bottleneck. I’m planning to order a CPU now. I was considering three options: i9 11900K (backorder on Newegg), i9 10900K (in stock), and i7 11700K (in stock). Since I want maximum performance, what should I choose?

What kind of motherboard are you using? What amount of RAM do you have installed, and what are the clock speeds or timings? Are you focusing on gaming with the CPU or also using it for other tasks? Overall, it seems the decision leans toward choosing between the 10900K and the 11700K since the 11900K isn't the best value compared to those.

I'm not physically shopping, but I can help you find the best prices if you tell me where you're looking and what items interest you!

I have a Z490 MSI A Pro with 32GB RAM and a 3200MHz clock speed (16-20-20-38) as per the specs. I'm using the CPU for editing games.

It's being considered as a more affordable and efficient alternative to the other choices available.

For the 11900k it's 460, for 11700k it's 380, and for 10900k it's 470.

Without understanding your purchase location and currency, we can't really assist you. It looks like the price is around 11,700k compared to a new mobile and CPU, which might be more advantageous than just upgrading the CPU. If it's in pounds, euros, or dollars, a new mobile and CPU could offer better value than just a CPU upgrade.

Are these rates specific to Canada? You’re seeing much cheaper prices in Canadian dollars on PCPartPicker. The 11700K seems to be the best value among those options. Have you checked the costs for the 10850K and 11700 non-K models?
