For your setup, the 3060 Ti pairs well with a mid-range CPU like the i5 13400 or i5 13600K. The i7 12700KF offers more power if you need it. If you're looking for upgrades, consider adding a faster RAM module or a solid-state drive for better performance. Let me know if you'd like more suggestions!

Based on your chosen gaming settings and budget, I recommend the i5-13600KF for 1080p and the i5-13400 if you prefer a lower cost and have integrated graphics. This way, you can save money while keeping performance suitable for most games, especially if your RTX 3060TI becomes unavailable and you still need a functional PC for other tasks.

Sure, I’d love to play at 1080p and handle a lot of editing tasks. Your i5 will work well for your needs. Appreciate the tip!

I’d choose 13600KF. It handles 1080p performance well and leaves room for future GPU upgrades. The other options seem less ideal for gaming and don’t offer much extra productivity.

You might consider these options: my budget is about 1600 USD or 2400 AUD.

Tell me what you aim to achieve, what constraints apply, and whether you already have components you'd like to incorporate. Let's make sure we're aligned before moving forward.

You're looking for a gaming PC suited for 1080p gaming and Blender rendering within a budget of 2500-2600 AUD (about 1600 USD). The main constraint is saving speed, with enough funds expected by early 2024. It's your first PC, so you'll need to build it from scratch using available parts.

A friend recently acquired a PC tailored for him, focused on 1080p gaming titles like CSGO and CS2, plus video editing. It closely matches the ASUS setup you mentioned. It performs similarly to another user’s build but with a faster CPU and a 3090 graphics card. To maximize value, consider upgrading to a 13600KF processor and a superior cooling solution. PCPartPicker provides the full list of components.
