Hi there, I recently purchased a 3060TI OC and still have a Ryzen 5 3500X. I'm looking into upgrading for the best performance without hitting a bottleneck. My setup includes: CPU - Ryzen 3500X, GPU - GeForce RTX 3060 TI OC, RAM - 2x 8GB XPG 3600MHz, motherboard - Asus Prime x570-p AM4, power supply - Corsair RM 650W, storage - 250MB SSD, 1TB HDD, 3TB OS - Windows 11 Pro, monitor - Samsung G3 1080p 165Hz.

I play games occasionally but need a reliable workstation setup. I prefer sticking mostly to Ryzen 5 and 7 models since I don’t want to spend much on higher-end chips like the Ryzen 9. I’m avoiding X3D variants because they might not meet my productivity needs. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Those targets refer to improving output efficiency. Even a subpar X3D processor will outperform your existing 3500X.

I often use a 7800X3D, though I also rely on a 3900X. Some "counter fit" Photoshop and DaVinci versions work well with it. It performs just as smoothly for me, and its speed matches what my 3900X offers.

I’m a developer focused on leveraging multiple cores for async tasks, multithreading, and virtualization. I’m considering the x3d release but haven’t explored it deeply yet. Thoughts?
