I don't believe so; everything else has a date label on it. I think the original owner bought this CPU as a budget upgrade from eBay to prolong its lifespan.

That would make sense, right? If it's not meeting the expected performance or the issues you pointed out, then it would more clearly point to an ES. Sorry for the confusion.

I've tested two additional CPUs, but none are functioning properly. I tried the ES CPU on another machine and it seems to work well. It might be a GPU issue, though I don't have another Clevo-based old GPU to test.
