Yeah, it's known as Insights Capture, it functions as a clip software similar to Medal, OBS, and others. Regardless of the settings I apply, the clips still experience stuttering and lack smoothness.

It seems unrelated to temperature concerns, but it may not be directly connected. The discussion appears to involve a specific reply from the thread, which I'm referencing for comparison.

When your software is capturing parts of a game, it's directing the data to a specific location. In the link for your latest version, only one drive is mentioned, which might be the reason for the issue. That drive is performing very quickly and is overloaded, causing the stuttering in your game.

In your previous build, there were two drives listed. I'm guessing you had the game on one drive and the operating system on another.

I have a C, D & E drive connected to the PC. My game and clipping software are on the C: drive, while the clip storage is configured to my External HDD (E). Since it's 2TB, the same capacity as before, I'm not sure if this addresses your concern.

Just to confirm, your game operates smoothly without any frame skips or delays, only the clips you're experiencing problems with are affected. I'm not sure why this is happening since I've switched software before and faced the same issue. I wouldn't have any problems if I hadn't started recording, but that would mean losing the value of spending on a costly PC.

External HDD via USB is likely the solution. Have you experimented with clip storage on a spare M.2 or Sata connector on your board? If not, make sure the chipset drivers for your rig are current, as sometimes connectivity problems like those with USB ports can be resolved, but you'll need to check the driver change log for more details.

Yes, the issue might be linked to the USB external drive, as it functioned well prior to the upgrade.

Check the specifications of your previous setup; it mentioned two physical drives, but your current configuration shows just one. This is why you're inquiring about this.

I understand, I simply incorporated my previous entries without making any changes. There were two flat sticks added to the motherboard, likely representing two physical drives, with the E drive being the USB external one. My C Drive is 500 GB, D Drive is 1TB, and E Drive is 2TB.
