My PC fails to start or boot when I press the case button, yet the motherboard indicates power is reaching it and it appears operational. This knowledge comes from an ASUS TUF-Gaming X570-Plus with LED glow on the board. I recently replaced a new SSD (Teampgroup T-Force) and switched cables to the GPU (corsair to cablemod). I reset the CMOS, tried another power supply, cleaned everything, verified connections, and disconnected all non-essential components from the PSU and motherboard before it would boot. It worked perfectly before these changes.

When your computer case features an old-fashioned Reset switch, use it. If the wire has fallen off the back of the Power switch, you might be able to solder it back in place. You can also look for a wide range of inexpensive switches on platforms like Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress—just choose one that matches the shape of your PC's switch.

When your computer case features an old-fashioned Reset switch, use it. If the wire has fallen off the back of the Power switch, you might be able to solder it back in place. You can also look for a wide range of inexpensive switches on platforms like Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress—just choose one that matches the shape of your PC's switch.

Shorting it succeeded! The case is a Musetex ATX PC Case-Glass side door Mid Tower Case (907-MS6). Since the wire seems damaged, should I try fixing it or just replace the case? Also, here’s the link to the cables I purchased:
