I would consider swapping that PSU even without performance problems—it poses a risk to your system. (I’m also uncertain if Liteon actually produces a gold 500w model, so you might be receiving inaccurate details about it).
Sharing a photo of the PSU would be helpful.

Check if you can capture the wattage and amperage label on the power supply...that's where you'll find out its capabilities.

The monitor isn't the issue... but your PSU only provides 21Amp or 16Amp at 12V, which is likely the source of your concerns.
