I bought a prebuilt gaming PC from Predator. For the first month I played normally, but now when I play longer sessions it starts dropping frames or feels like everything is moving slowly and skipping. The CPU temperature after about three hours of GTA gaming reached 85°C, and the GPU was around 80°C. My specs are: CPU i7 10700, GPU RTX 2060, power supply 500W Gold Liteon. I’ve experienced buzzing sounds in my headphones during GTA and Rocket League twice. Please help me.

I've checked if I can play with the side panel removed.

And now are the games still dropping frames? (that 500watt PSU seems a bit weak)

I think so, you also have a CPU i7 10700 and a GPU rtx 2060. There are other options you might consider to improve performance...

But I checked online and others suggest 450 w should be sufficient.
but it seems to occur only after extended gaming sessions.

This seems to point to a power supply issue, and since it's a Liteon unit, I wasn't surprised. A standard 550w model shouldn't face such problems, but this one doesn't. If you can afford it, fix it yourself. Otherwise, return it and insist on a better PSU being installed.

Are you completely certain? I don't want to waste money. That's why I'm considering getting a Bequiet 600W power supply.
