So I just began assembling my first custom PC and encountered my initial challenge. I installed all the necessary components for a test boot outside the case and followed the installation guide carefully. However, the machine still won’t power on. According to the manual, I should have used the correct f-panel connectors with a screwdriver to get it running. I rechecked all the PCIe cables for my motherboard, CPU, GPU, and replaced the RAM, CPU, and verified that everything was securely connected. I performed a paperclip test on the PSU and it spun up successfully. Additionally, I swapped out the RAM sticks with some from an old prebuilt unit, thinking I had a defective motherboard. Despite buying a second one, the same problem persists.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! How are you managing the processor? Try to ease some pressure from the CPU's socket; to have the cooler resting on the IHS, the PC should be placed on its side. It might help to ensure your RAM is in slots A2 and B2. Double-check that all connections from your PSU to your components are securely seated. Test your platform's internal components by breadboarding them to see if the situation improves.

I have verified every connector on the motherboard. My RAM stick is installed in the A2 and B2 slots. I'm using a Corsair H150i 360mm AIO for cooling the CPU. Still experiencing no power.

the only options seem to be changing the power supply and cables, and switching the CPU.
