the issues aren't about the cpu, you just need to change something else. the problem lies with the motherboard you own—it can easily be upgraded to 4gb of ram. most games require more than 4gb, and even Windows needs 4gb to run smoothly. adding a better video card would likely mean a new psu as well. overall, it’s a major upgrade to a modern computer. here’s my suggestion: it will be a big leap forward. you’re not just halfway there; it’s more than enough for new games. too small.
