I usually achieve around 55-60 frames per second. I’m disappointed because my 6800, which is 192% more powerful than your 1080, only manages about 55-60 fps at the highest setting. I don’t believe it’s possible to reach 60 fps even at high resolutions.

I'm fine with certain configurations at Med, such as those that demand more resources like shadows. However, I'd prefer to maintain high textures.

The frame rate changed from 55-60 to 65-70 on the second launch. Probably most of my stutters were due to the first one. YMMV though.

NOPE, the mileage remains consistent for all users, no matter the specifications. I can confirm you didn't view that video I shared since it clearly outlines why this happens. The shader compiler you encounter each time you start the game fails to compile every shader. As a result, a smooth experience won't be possible until the shader cache is saved. It also seems to compile more reliably on the second launch because the cache file from the first run can help it identify any missed shaders. Nonetheless, you'll always face some animation issues in the game. Alex of DF put his best effort into minimizing animation problems, but despite achieving a flat FPS and frame rate with no fluctuations, it still occasionally skipped frames, making the protagonist appear to jerk forward during movement.

It will need to compile the shaders multiple times until it can compile all of them.
