I experienced a problem with my computer where, when launching New World, the game would suddenly black out on startup. After that, the game would continue while other functions like Discord remained active. However, the GPU fans would increase significantly, and then the screen would go black. Upon powering off and restarting the machine, the GPU would be disabled around 90% of the time in the device manager. This issue began after I replaced my old monitor with a Dell S2721DGF 27.0" display. It’s worth noting that I upgraded my RAM a week or two prior to installing the new monitor. The difficulties only appeared after using the new screen, though I’m providing all relevant details for reference. If I perform a full restart of the computer before launching the game—whether after extended use with another monitor or simply keeping the system running for a while—I usually avoid the black screen and can play normally. For comparison, my in-game resolution in New World is set to 1080p, while the default monitor resolution is 1440p in Windows settings. When playing less demanding games like Lost Ark or League of Legends, I can run at 1440p, 144hz, with maximum settings without any crashes. The black screen occurs whether my second monitor is connected or not. It seems my GPU might be reaching the end of its lifespan and struggling to maintain 60Hz at higher resolutions, but I’m open to any additional advice if there’s a more significant problem. My parts list is attached below.

the M12II series power supplies have poor quality.
such issues often occur when a low-quality power supply is used.
when the graphics card attempts to draw more power for demanding tasks, the PSU may fail to provide it, leading to problems similar to those you're encountering.
the first step would be to swap it with a more reliable model and avoid further risk of damaging connected components.
