What causes the blue screen in the Gigabyte Control Center?
Hi guys, I'm facing an issue with the GCC that's leading to a blue screen displaying "Driver_Power _State_Failure." Have anyone else experienced this problem? It seems to occur after updating the graphics card's VBios from F1 to F1.2, though I'm not sure. Without the program, my graphics card fans and RAM sticks are also behaving strangely because they aren't connected properly.
Have you attempted removing GCC and installing a fresh version from the provided link?
Alternatively, would you proceed with option one on the linked page and then carry out the following actions:
Create small memory dumps during BSOD using Windows' built-in feature – this generates a Minidump file in C:Windows after each crash.
Open File Explorer, go to C:\Windows\Minidump,
transfer the generated files to your Desktop,
avoid using Winzip and use Windows' native method,
then right-click the files on your Desktop and choose 'Send to' – Compressed (zipped) folder,
upload the resulting zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox, etc.),
and share the link so we can review it together after the next BSOD.
What GPU model do you have?
I already had the files, but compression failed because there are include characters that can't be compressed. What changes should I make to allow compression? Also, I have an Aorus master RTX 4090; can I use WinRAR instead? And the uninstall and reinstall steps didn't resolve the issue.
Google Drive or OneDrive appear to function well for many users.
Sorry, I'm taking some time to reply. I had to change the virtual machine I use for converting dump files.
What does DDU mean? I just changed the graphics card details, and it started working after I installed it yesterday.
