What causes my PC to freeze and crash?
In short, I’ve been facing issues with my PC (see pictures below). From the images, it’s clear that my monitor frequently glitches and my PC freezes, requiring a restart. This usually occurs when launching games, watching videos, or streaming on YouTube, but sometimes even when restarting normally. When I try to restart the PC as usual, it freezes completely, and if I power off and then turn it back on, it stays black and forces another restart.
The main change I’ve noticed is that my PC has been moved around a lot recently, so I’m unsure if any damage occurred during these moves. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps: re-seating the graphics card, cleaning dust from the system, testing each RAM stick, running memory diagnostics, fully uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver, updating the BIOS, and checking the Event Viewer for errors.
I’m also monitoring my CPU and GPU temperatures, which are normal, and I’ve increased the GPU fan speed to maximum, but the PC still freezes.
If you have any advice or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. I want to ensure I try everything before considering a replacement for the graphics card or power supply. Also, just to confirm, is there any sign of overheating?
Here are all the components of your PC to assist in troubleshooting. This should help the team resolve your issues. Just a note, it seems your GPU is nearing the end of its lifespan.
